The NGO feeds around 100 needy people each day and acts as a crèche for the local children during the day.
Roof sheeting, timber doors, steel balustrades and security gates, were just some of the items reclaimed from the demolition of the Lighthouse.

We have also embarked on an aggressive Zero-Waste-to-Landfill initiative, with alternative solutions sought, so recycling these discarded building materials aligns with our approach to environmental management,” Tsunke said.
“There is considerable value in the salvage material, and we are pleased to be able to support the Boardwalk’s NGO initiatives by donating these items for upcycling,” said Paul Gerard, MD of Flanagan & Gerard.
“As a company, we are passionate about our environment and looking after its limited natural resources, so contributing to the circular economy by providing Healing Minds with this material to be reused fits in with our philosophy.
